Tamara Anna Marie Saukin, MD, DABFM, attended accelerated medical program at Union College/Albany Medical College, where she received her medical degree. She continued her training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center with her internship in Internal Medicine and additional training in psychiatry. Furthermore, she conducted her family medicine residency at Columbia University and Stamford Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. In addition, Dr. Saukin received board certification in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine, of which she is a Diplomate. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Academy of Family Physicians, and the Richmond County Medical Society. Dr. Saukin dedicates her spare time to playing classical guitar, volunteering for autistic children, traveling, hiking with her rescue golden retriever, and reading.
